Patti Bailey

Patti Bailey (White), 68, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, peacefully at home in Suffolk, Virginia. Patti along with her twin sister Pam Andrews were born on September 1, 1957, the beloved daughters of Marcia and Paul White formerly of Pennsylvania where they made Virginia their home. She attended Bayside High School, graduating class of 1975.

Patti dedicated two decades of professional life to the city of Chesapeake where her commitment and sense of responsibility earned her considerable respect and admiration from her colleagues. Her work was more than a career; it was reflection of her sense of civic duty and strong sense of giving back to the community.

Patti loved crafting and decorating for every season. She created a festive environment with many seasonal decorations. She was an avid lover of Halloween and looked forward to it each year. She took pride in her Halloween decorations, inside and outside of the home. She also loved Christmas and had even more impressive décor that we will continue to display in her memory.

Patti was the happiest surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Erin (Midgett) Lasseter; son, Jeffrey Bailey, Jr.; grandchildren; Holly Meagher, Steven Lasseter and Karisa Lasseter, Dawson Bailey and Aurora Lasseter as well as great grandchildren; sister, Pamela Andrews; niece, Jenny Hildebrandt and nephew, William Neaton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcia and Paul White.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Water’s Edge Winery, Norfolk Va from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM to remember and celebrate Patti’s wonderful life with family and friends.
