Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Leila Hill; his sister, Sharon Hill-Perry (Billy); his beloved grandmother, Edith Hill; his godmother, Ommie Daniels; his mother-in-law, Purisima Leandado. He is also survived by an aunt, Julinne "Betty" Hill; two uncles, Jessie Hill (Yvonne) and Jackie Hill (Jacqueline); 5 nieces, Tomika Hill, Tiffany Hill,Torrie Hill, Kimberly Ward, and Abigail Ward; 3 nephews, Mario Hill, Marco Hill,and Daniel Ward; his sister-in-law, Rowena Ward and husband, Anthony Ward; and a host of other relatives, colleagues, students and close friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Jeanette Hill.
A Celebration of Perry’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 4780 First Court Rd in Virginia Beach.
