Robert Joseph Estaris

Robert Joseph Estaris, a resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He died on the morning of Sunday September 25, 2022 at the age 65 at Sentara Leigh Hospital of Pneumonia. Robert is survived by his two kids; son Randolph Estaris of Virginia Beach and daughter Elisa Estaris of Titusville Florida; his brother Roy Estaris and Roy’s wife Naomi both of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren Raelin and Adalyn Estaris both of Virginia Beach; his nieces and nephew; Stephanie Estaris of Chesapeake, Jacqueline Estaris – Dunson and husband Adrian Dunson both of Virginia Beach, and Rudi Estaris – Chhin Chesapeake; his grand nieces and nephews; Jovanni Dunson, Jeramiah Dunson, Julian Dunson, and Aneleah Dunson all of Virginia Beach, Tala Chinn of Chesapeake. He was born October 14, 1956 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Rudy & Dina Estaris. He was a graduate of Norfolk Catholic High School, Class of 1974, received his Bachelors of Science Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University class of 1979, and began his graduate studies in medicine at the MCV campus of Virginia Commonwealth University. In pursuit of his education in medicine, he was then diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1979. After which, he then married Perlita Amulong and had his son Randolph Estaris by the end of 1979. Three years later they had their daughter Elisa Estaris in 1982. He continued through the years meeting new people and making friends along the way. He was a member of the local Multiple Sclerosis Society for many years. He attended St. Pius the Tenth Church, then Church of Ascension, and St. Gregory. Robert enjoyed car rides, listening to music, swimming at the YMCA, having drinks with family & friends, and conversing with anyone who would listen. A memorial service for Robert will be a Rosewood Funeral Home this Thursday October 6th, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm. Then on Friday October 7th, 2022 at 10am at Rosewood Funeral Home and Cemetery. Any and all Donations may be made out to either Randolph or Elisa Estaris or on his Go Fund Me Account. The family is grateful to all of his caregivers and friends.
