Robert E. Gregory Jr.

Robert E. Gregory, Jr., passed away peacefully April 4, 2011.

Mr. Gregory was born June 13, 1930 to the late Robert and Lillian Gregory, Sr. in Norfolk, VA. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was the retired Chief Electrical Inspector for the City of Virginia Beach. Bob loved being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish his memory is: son, Robert E. Gregory, III (Donna); two daughters: Jean Lynne Stapleton (Michael), Elizabeth Anne Gregory; brother, Charles G. Gregory (Leslie); sister, June Foster (Glenn); four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, former spouse and friend, M. Jacqueline Gregory, and numerous extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Pungo Senior Care. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
