Born on September 17, 1970, Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Sue Yates and the late Robert Yates. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, and “Gigi,” Stephanie lived a life filled with compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ray “Ed” E. Harris Jr., who stood faithfully by her side through every season of life. Together, they built a beautiful family, including their two daughters: Kaylee Scarano (Corey), and Carawan Harris. Stephanie was a proud and adoring “GiGi” to Hunter and Hadleigh, who brought her immense joy and laughter.
Stephanie’s warmth extended far beyond her immediate family. She was a loyal friend, a comforting presence, and a constant encourager to those lucky enough to know her. Her faith, grace, and gentle spirit left a lasting impact on all whose lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
Her celebration of life will be held on July 16, 2025, at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Visitation will start at 1pm with the service to follow at 2pm.
