Sybil Ataway Butler, 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Virginia Beach on Thursday with her family by her side. Sybil was born in Southwestern Virginia to the late Herbert and Oma Terry. She is also predeceased by her son, Patrick Kelly Butler. Sybil made her priority in her life her loving husband of 70 years and her family. She was very passionate about gardening, an accomplished seamstress and talented artist. She is survived by her husband, Kelly Butler; daughters, Hillary C. Russell, Della L. Butler, Kathleen R. Butler, Pamela E. Butler and a grandson, Thomas F. Young, Jr.
