Winnie V. Johnson went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Johnson. Winnie was a member of Deep Creek Pentecostal Church and a resident at Oak Grove Sentara Village during 2011.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ruby Conaway, Charles Johnson, Jr. and wife Kimiko & Janice Palmer along with her 7 grandchildren, Ivan Conaway, III, David Conaway, Deborah Brown, Diane Jones, Sandra Goode, Kimberly Shea and Richard Palmer; 9 great-grandchildren, Nina Eacker, Nickolas Brown, Ivan Conaway IV, Cherie Dale Conaway, Zane Conaway, Jessica Lyn Conaway, Jacob and Connor Shea, Kayla Goode and Dylan Jones.
You are welcome to join the family Thursday, Dec. 29 between 7 and 8:30 PM in Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, Dec. 30 in Rosewood Memorial Park.
