Kevin Michael O'Brien

Born in Providence, Kevin was the son of Barbara A. (Geary) Saunders and the late Daniel Patrick O’Brien.

Kevin served his country proudly as a member of the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed karaoke, rock and country music, New England Patriots football, but most of all his Irish heritage.

Kevin is also survived by his uncles, Daniel J. Geary and James O'Brien (Pauline), a niece, Megan O’Brien, a nephew, Dilan Stewart, his cousins, Kelly O'Brien, Kristen Durand, Brian Geary and Donna Horn, and his devoted friends, John, and Rhonda Wilson. He was predeceased by his sister, Cheryl O’Brien.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave., Providence. Burial will be private. Visitation on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 4 – 7 pm at the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home located at 142 Centerville Road, Warwick, RI

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kevin’s memory to; St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.

Because of Kevin’s love for all things Irish, his family has asked that attendees wear green to services.
