

Ronald A. Tutalo, 78, of Warwick, Rhode Island passed away on Friday, December 8th, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Mary (Caruso) Tutalo. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Patricia (Motta) Tutalo of forty-seven years, son, Ronald A. Tutalo II, daughter-in-law, Kelsey, and grandchildren, Cameron and Sophie. He was the loving brother of Ann Marie (Tutalo) Cipolla and her husband, Albert Cipolla; Peter Tutalo and his deceased wife, Cynthia; Anthony Tutalo and his wife, Lynne; Joseph Tutalo and his wife, Sandra. He leaves behind several adoring nieces and nephews.
Ron graduated from Classical High School, Providence College, and Suffolk University School of Law.
He was a dedicated attorney who advocated for justice and equality. He was employed by the Rhode Island State Supreme Court as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Justice for over forty years. He was also a member of the Army National Guard.
He had a great love for music and was a talented pianist. He was an avid learner with an enthusiasm for American history and was a member of the Lincoln Forum.
You could regularly find him around a table with his large Italian family. His greatest joys were his wife, Patricia, son, Ronald, and being grandpa to Cameron and Sophie. His dedication transcended to extended family and friends. He lived to serve and care for his loved ones. His devotion knew no bounds. He was a very special man with a quiet strength and an incredible tenderness that endeared him to all that crossed his path. His loss leaves a void in his family that is felt across generations.
Ron was a devout Roman Catholic who lived every day embodying the faith he so strongly believed. His family will forever carry with them the mark of this extraordinary man. He will be remembered by family and friends as a selfless man with great integrity.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 8:30 – 9:30 in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rte. 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
