Clare Harold Goodman, 74, of Alto, passed away on July 7, 2016 at the Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, MI. He was born on December 14, 1941 to Clare and Emily (Swartz) Goodman in Allegan, MI. He graduated from Wayland Union High School in 1960. Clare worked in Manufacturing for Steelcase for 32 years and then worked at Saskatoon Golf Club. On April 18, 1964 he married Clara Bruinsma. He loved to golf, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Going to Tiger’s games with his son was always a special time for him. The family will remember how kind and loving Clare was to everyone, never having a cross word to say about anyone. Clare is survived by his loving spouse Clara, three daughters, ZoAnn Reigler, Nikale (Allen) Stakenas, Veronica Thomas; son, Bill (Michelle) Goodman; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchilden; mother Emily Goodman; brother, Larry (Jayne) Goodman.He was preceded in death by father, Clare M.
