Gary Allen Statler, age 61, passed away on January 3, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Helen Statler. Gary loved all things outdoors. Those included hunting, camping, trapping, fishing, snowmobiling, and tending to his vegetable garden. He was not one to sit still and loved tinkering. This was reflected in his career choice as a mechanic at Wayland Chevrolet. Most importantly, he loved his family. Gary loved spending time and teasing his grandsons and just being together as a family.

I remember the time I got to go hunting with the family up in Baldwin and got teased by Gary because I saw a deer in his blind that he let me set, but I froze and could not shoot. I am sorry to hear about his passing and am praying for the family. Barb
