KOVAC-JoAnne Marie Kovac, age 55 of Wayland, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, October 9, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father Frank, her baby sister and her grandparents. She is survived by her mother Elaine Kovac; her sisters Laure Parliament, Catherine (Shannon) Keefer and Mary (Mike) Kovac-Iciek. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Kyle (Caitlin) Parliament; Tayler, Tessa and Tanner Keefer; Jackson and Grant Iciek who called her the "Best Aunt in the World". JoAnne was blessed to have many dear friends in her life time. She also loved her cats! JoAnne was a talented and passionate musician and was well known in the Kalamazoo Dioceses for her skills as organist and canter at St. Therese Catholic Church of Wayland. The funeral mass celebrating JoAnne's Life will be held 11 am Friday at St. Therese Catholic Church Wayland with Fr. Christian Johnston celebrant. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 5-8pm at St. Therese Catholic Church and one hour prior to mass on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Therese Choir or to the Church building fund.
