

Marvin E. Clark, age 81 of Monterey Twp., went to be with our Heavenly Father on April 28, 2014. Marvin was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula. Born June 4, 1932, in Garnet, MI, the son of Truman and Leotta Clark. He is survived by his friend, Marjorie Oldenburg; his son Marvin C. (Kathleen) Clark of Jamestown, IN; his granddaughters: Jennifer (Brooks) Wagler and Kimberly (Judd) Houston; his great-grandchildren: Dylan Foster, Kaley Tharp, Madison and Mackenzie Wagler, and Logan Clark; his brothers: Louis (Clara) Clark, Ernie (Nancy) Clark, Charles Clark; his sister, Evelyn Johnson; his sister-in-law Jessie Clark and brother-in-law Bud Bowler; and several nieces and nephews. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, his son Kenneth A. Clark, his brother Harry Clark, his sisters Mary Bowler and Eith Hunsberger; his sister-in-law Hiroko Clark and his brother-in-law Rudy Johnson. Marvin served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired in 2003 from Parsons as an electronic technician. Marvin was a member of the Moline Baptist Church. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Marvin's family will be held from 2 to 5 PM Sunday, May 4, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Dorr, 4330 18th St. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, May 5, at Moline Baptist Church with Pastor Shane VandeVrede officiating. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, 1051 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, at 2:30 PM, with military honors. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Moline Baptist Church.
