

Robert Jimenez, age 79 of Moline, passed away November 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Andrea Jimenez, his daughter Diana, his parents, two sisters and two brothers. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife Ardis Badger-Jimenez; his children: Daniel and Norma Jimenez, Elizabeth and Noe Alonzo, David and Shelly Jimenez, Linda and David Anaya, Hector and Concha Jimenez, and Dina and Rocky Anaya; step-children: Dawn and Graham Krauss, Leslie Badger, Dee Badger, and Gail Overbeck; 34 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; brothers Joe and Martha Jimenez and Bal and Eva Jimenez, sister Dolores Aguilera; and many nieces and nephews. Robert worked for Murray Packing and retired from Life Savers. He also worked for Leep Farms in his retirement. He was a Pine Lake Little League coach and enjoyed watching all softball and baseball games. Robert pastored the Burnips Apostolic Church from 1995-2013. He was always faithful at attending his grandchildren's activities. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Robert's family will be held from 5-8 PM Monday, November 18, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Dorr, 4330 18th Street. A service celebrating his life will be 12 PM Tuesday at Fountain of Truth Apostolic Tabernacle in Orangeville, 6116 Marsh Road, with Pastor David Garcia officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fountain of Truth Apostolic Tabernacle, Bradley Indian Mission or Faith Hospice.
