Sandy Reed, age 69 of Wayland, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 3, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 1, 1944, in Rivervale, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Donnie Reed and her brother-in-law, Jerry Stites. She is survived by her sisters: Charlette (Paul) Dodd, Glenda (Chuck) Lieske, and Janice Stites; her brothers: Bill (Donna) Reed and Clay (Anna) Reed and twelve nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a very special and loving aunt. Sandy loved spending time with her family and traveling south to visit with many cousins. She retired from Perrigo in 2008. Friends may visit with her family on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 6-8 PM at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 312 N. Main Street, along with an hour prior to the service on Wednesday. A funeral celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home, with Donald Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
