

Albert was born in Houston, Texas on March 11, 1936. He attended Jefferson Davis High School in Houston and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Albert was married to Natalie (Garcia) on August 23, 1959; they were married 58 years.
Albert worked most recently in the Houston Independent School District. He enjoyed spending time with family and watching Astros Baseball. He was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was also a member of the American Legion.
Albert is survived by his spouse, Natalie G. Meza; daughter, Carolyn Garza and husband Joe Anthony Garza Sr.; son, Steven Albert Meza and wife Beverly; grandchildren, Ruben Albert Martinez, Joe Anthony Garza Jr., Ashley Danielle Garza, Nicholas Albert Meza and Jessica Elaine Meza along with great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
Albert is preceded in death by parents, Francisco Meza Sr. & Pilar Avila Meza; Brothers Ignacio (Nacho) Meza and Isidoro Meza, Sr.
The funeral service will be held at St. Lukes Catholic Church, 11011 Hall Rd. Houston, TX 77089 on Friday, September 22, 2017. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Lukes Catholic Church with mass at 11:00am. Procession and Burial to be immediately following mass at Forest Park East cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598.
