Alfonso Ramirez Jr., 76, of Houston, Texas passed away August 13, 2016. He was born in Brownsville, Texas, October 29, 1939 to Alfonso Ramirez-Aguinaga and Maria Molina. He was married to Odilia Leandro Ramirez for 39 years.
Alfonso retired form J&S Mechanical as a sheet metal mechanic. He was an accomplished musician and had a passion for the musical arts in general. In addition to music, Alfonso enjoyed grilling out weekly and loved rooting for his Houston Astros.
Alfonso was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alfonso Ramirez-Aguinaga and Maria Molina; his wife, Odilia Leandro Ramirez; his sisters, Florencia Lopez, and Mary Bossom.
Alfonso Is survived by, his sons, Alfonso Ramirez lll, Robert Ramirez and wife Donna Ramirez; his sisters, Juanita Ramirez, Ester Hinojosa, and Amelia Sanchez; his grandchildren, Hannah Ramirez, Raven Ramirez, and Alfonso Ramirez IV.
The Ramirez family will receive friends Friday, August 19, 2016 from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 10:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery
