Barbara Jean Ginther, born January 1, 1929 passed away April 26, 2013 in a Baytown hospital. She grew up in San Antonio where she married and had all four of her daughters. She later moved to South Houston, Texas. Jean loved to crochet, loved writing letters and going to church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Ginther and two daughters, Kathleen Weaver and Marian Minner. Jean is survived by two daughters, Diane Ginther and Margaret Gossett; three grandsons, Dan Minner, Lloyd McClanahan and Alpheus Creswell; one granddaughter, Marisa Minner and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013 with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the San Jose Burial Park in San Antonio, Texas.
