Betty Jo Harbour

Betty Jo was born March 19, 1940 to Arthur Lee and edith Lee Sisson of Philadelphia, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years John Thomas Harbour Jr., her parents Arthur and Edith Sisson, siblings; Ivie Sisson, Arnett Sisson, Naomi (Sisson) Lavender, Raymon Sisson, and Willie Sisson.

She is survived by her children Dana Mertz and husband Doug; Kim Liccketto and husband Lance; John Thomas Harbour III (Trey) and wife Melissa; Mandy Nuncio and husband Sergio; Jo Rudsenske and husband John; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and many beloved nephews and nieces.

Betty worked in education for over 30 years at Broadway Baptist School as the Director of the preschool and Kindergarten teacher.

She was a strong Christian woman who dedicated her life to her faith and family. A true treasure to all who knew her, she will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held on August 14, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, United States. A reception will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
