Betty Jane Marshall was born on January 27th, 1943 in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of John Marble Pratt II and Fannie Proctor Pratt. She married the love of her life, Tommy Nolan Marshall, at 20 years old on April 26th 1963. They had been married 42 years at the time of his passing. Betty had an only child, Kelly Marshall Johnson, and two grandchildren Taylor Nolan Johnson and Ashley Elaine Johnson who will miss her greatly. Betty also has a sister Gay Francis Garland and brother John Marble Pratt III.
Betty was retired at her time of passing, but her and Nolan had previously owned their own successful construction company. Nolan met Betty when she was 15, when she caught his eye as she zoomed by in her red convertible. They were inseparable. They had a love that movies are written about. A power couple that worked hard, played hard, and loved even harder. Betty and Nolan were avid cruisers and after he passed, she and her daughter continued that tradition. She was a wonderful and devoted mother and grandmother; that never missed a football game or dance recital. Betty was breathtakingly beautiful and always turned heads when she walked into a room. Her beauty was intimidating but you quickly realized she was the life of the party. She was sassy fun and a little inappropriate, but always the ultimate lady.
