

Carolyn Alsworth Johnson, a vibrant and loving spirit, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, at the age of 79, surrounded by family. Born on May 28, 1946, in Houston, Texas, Carolyn touched the lives of many with her kind nature and enthusiasm for life.
A proud business owner for more than thirty years and resident of Kemah, Texas, Carolyn was well known for her spirited personality. Carolyn truly enjoyed living near the coast. She spent many happy times with her friends: playing mahjong, bridge and cooking meals. Her dedication to her family was evident in all that she did. Carolyn absolutely adored her grandchildren; attending school activities, FFA, soccer and softball games and celebrated their achievements. She was a very special part of their lives.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving parents C.D. Alsworth and Pauline Alsworth and her husband, Richard Johnson. Carolyn is survived by her sons, Mark and his wife Susan Sanders, and Brian and his wife Amber Sanders; grandchildren Reagan, Taylor, Riley and Marshall. Carolyn is also survived by her sister Pam and nephews Derrick and Karl.
Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity. Carolyn will be missed and cherished by all who knew her.
Carolyn's family kindly invite friends to a celebration of life. A visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. A reception will follow immediately after the service. The committal service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery the same day at 3:00 PM and welcome friends.
The family would like to thank all the friends for their prayers and support. In lieu of customary remembrances the family would ask a consideration of a donation to a non-profit of choice in memory of Carolyn A. Johnson.
