They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and forever dear.

Christopher Lee Lawson, age 62 of Houston, TX passed away June 19, 2017. He was born in Houston, TX on August 15, 1954. He had two long-time jobs, with Reed Tool Company and with the USPS. He was also a CNA and worked in a nursing home taking care of elderly patients.
His passions in life were watching football (especially the Dallas Cowboys!) and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Rita Cade, and his sister Sandy. He was very close to his mother and before her death he lived with her and took care of her for many years.
Oh how he loved his siblings. He loved to pick on them and torment them, but mainly he was just a wonderful big brother to them and loved them unconditionally. He is survived by his sisters, Pamela Lawson (and Jay Isbell) of Pasadena, TX, Jennifer Cade of Rosharon, TX and his brother Vince Cade (and wife Layni) of Pearland, TX.
He was married in 1998 in the Catholic church to Genera Propios. Genera was always a wonderful friend and companion to him. He is also survived by Genera Propios Lawson.
He didn’t have children of his own, but he treated his nieces and nephews like they were his children—even helping to raise a few of them. He adored them and they adored him! To them he was Uncle Bubba. He is survived by his nieces, Paige, Virginia, April and Lia; and by his nephews, Riley, Vincent and Bo.
Our family is devastated--we will miss his smile, his sense of humor and his one-of-a-kind cards; but most of all we will miss his amazing personality and his love. You are forever in our hearts, Bubba.
