

Clara Belle Stuart Hillenburg passed away April 5, 2014 at the age of 93. She was born December 10, 1920 in Homestead, Florida to Julia Meeks Stuart and Hix C. Stuart. Richard Hillenburg and Clara Belle Stuart were joined in marriage June 15, 1939. They had three children: Patricia Hillenburg Clark Ronald Eugene Hillenburg (Linda) and Roy Stuart Hillenburg (Rebecca).
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter and siblings. Survivors include her two sons and daughers-in-law and five grandchildren. Ron and Linda’s children and grandchildren are: Julie Hillenburg Comiskey, husband Trey and son Corbin; Jill Hillenburg Hughes, husband Mark, and children Haylie, Hayden and Harrison; Jarad Stockton, wife Winifred, and daugher Alessia; and Kistopher Stockton, wife Lisa and daughters Whitney and Audrey. Roy and Rebecca’s children and grandchildren are Russell Hillenburg, wife Mary Beth and children Austin and Grace. Clara Belle is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Clara and Richard founded Brazosport Machine Works in Freeport, Texas in the 50’s, and started Woven Metal Products and subsidiaries at the present location in Alvin, Texas in 1967. They were both dedicated to their work and the families associated with the companies.
Loving to be with people brightened her day and the days of others. She always had time for a hug and a laugh. Many have memories of her singing and dancing. May she be dancing her way through heaven now.
The service in celebration of Clara Belle will be held Friday, April 11th at 3:00 PM at Forest Park East, Webster, Texas. Visitation will be from 1-3 preceding the service.
