Curtis Ray Hatchett

Curtis Ray Hatchett, 75, of Houston, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was born on January 21, 1941 in Zimmerman Camp, LA, to Curtis Ray and Vera Mae Hatchett. Curtis worked for Crowe Manufacturing. He loved landscaping and traveling. Curtis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Clayton Francis; niece, Cassandra Francis. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Juenella Hatchett; son, Curtis Martin; brothers, Jimmie ( Evelyn) Hatchett and Isaac Hatchett; sisters, Yvonne Ross and Akua Fayette(Ishman, Jr.) Hunter; nephews, Christopher Francis, Charles Francis, Curtis Francis, Clifford Francis and Ishman Hunter, III; nieces, Lisa Hunter and Chrystal Hunter; brothers-in-law, Leslie Charles Jackson and Lester Calvin Jackson; twelve grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Harbor Hospice for their care and to our friends for their prayers.

The family will receive friends Saturday September 3, 2016 at 9:00 am Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas.. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016. Curtis will be laid to rest in Forest Park East Cemetery.
