He died peacefully in his home with his wife by his side on April 13, 2025. Edward was born on July 6, 1959 to Walter and Nancy Burdsall in Syracuse, New York. Ultimately, his family settled in Texas where he went to Clear Lake High School and graduated in 1977. He attended classes at San Jacinto College before beginning a 30+ year career as an automotive technician, spending the last 25 years at Bayway Lincoln. He was very good at what he did at work, but his greatest joy was his family. He especially enjoyed cooking and waiting on them, always refusing to eat until everyone else was taken care of. He also enjoyed going on cruises with his family and going on road trips with his wife, frequenting the Texas hill country.
He is survived by his two brothers, Christopher and Jeff, his wife, Vicki, his son, Robert and spouse, Chrissy, his daughter, Lauren and spouse Nick, and his five grandsons, Parker, Bennett, Warner, Dean and Heath, to whom he was known as “Papa”.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy, and his father, Walt.
