

He was born in Arkansas on June 12, 1947 and lived there with his mother, two sisters and one brother, until he served in the United States Army as an aircraft mechanic during the Vietnam War.
His last place of employment, Bob Jones RV, was like a second home to him. He felt like he was working with family.
Elmer is survived by his wife, Tonya Cameron of Houston, his daughter and son-in-law, Van and Keith Shotwell of Alvin, and his daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Rodd Rizzo of Pearland. His legacy will continue with his seven grandchildren: Breigh, Drew, Brooke and Reese Shotwell, and Cameron, Bryce and Aiden Rizzo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Lee Simms, niece, Sherry Raggio and his beloved baby girl, Kristie Cameron.
There will be a viewing and visitation on Friday, July 16th from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 17th from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. All services and burial will be at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598, 281-332-3111.
