George William Davis, 88, of League City, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He was born in Leavenworth, Washington on Friday, August 10, 1934 to Violet Lucille Howden and Louis Irl Davis. He was married to Güler Yukselcan Davis for 42 years. George worked for/had a career in aerospace for The Boeing Company and United Space Alliance. George had a passion for reading, swimming, baseball, bowling and billiards.
George was preceded in death by his brother Robert Louis Davis and survived by his wife Güler Yukselcan Davis and children Kenan Baki Davis, Kerim Mehmet Davis, Jennifer Marion Davis and Michael William Davis.
A visitation for George will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to start at 2:00 p.m. and then a committal and reception to follow. All services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, TX.
