Gilberto Perez Trejo

Gilberto Perez Trejo, 64, of Houston Texas was called home February 28, 2019, when his golden heart stopped beating. He was welcomed to Heaven’s gates by his parents, Hilario Trejo Dorantes and Maria Evangeline Perez, as well as his youngest brother, Hilario Trejo. He was born in Mexico City, February 19, 1955.

Gilbert was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He treasured time spent with those he loved and was known for his generous spirit. Gilbert enjoyed construction projects and was a painter by trade. He spent his Sundays honoring God at Lakewood Church and his free time helping others.

Gilbert leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years, Cathy Quebedeaux Trejo, his daughters Angela and Erica Halligan and two beautiful grandchildren, Madelynn and Jack. Gilbert was the beloved brother to Guillermo, Magdalena, Laura, David Enrique, Salvador, Rosa María, Guadalupe Beatriz, Lina Imelda, Hilario, David and Estefania.

Visitation will be held on March 10, 2019 from 1pm – 8pm. A Rosary Service will be held starting at 6pm on March 10, 2019. Funeral services will start at 3pm on March 11, 2019, with his Committal Service following immediately after. All services will be located at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.

While the loss of such an amazing man has left us all with an immense void, we find great peace in knowing he is looking down on us from Heaven.
