
Deer Park, TX – Glen Thomas Lemon, 91, of Deer Park, TX passed away peacefully Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Houston Hospice.
Mr. Lemon was born January 20, 1919 in St. Louis, MO, son of late Frank and Louise Klientoph Lemon. Mr. Lemon was a graduate from St. Louis University with a degree in accounting. He married the love of his life, Sarah Branard Lemon, on September 30, 1944 in Houston, TX. Mr. Lemon served in the United State Air Force for 3 years. He was a member of First Colony Bible Chapel and Plymouth Brethren Bible Chapels in St. Louis and Houston.
Mr. Lemon worked for Diamond Shamrock Chemical Company, Deer Park, TX for 33 years as an accountant before retiring. Mr. Lemon enjoyed golf, fishing, and building. He served faithfully on the Dedman Foundation, Prison Ministries, Cedar Hill Bible Camp Board and was a teaching Elder for Houston and South Houston Bible Chapels.
Mr. Lemon was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Lemon Phillips. He was a loving husband and devoted father and is survived by his wife, Sarah Lemon of Deer Park, TX, daughters, Bette Haynes, Oakdale, CA and Jeanne Hasty and husband Rev. Charles R. Hasty, Jr., Columbus, GA. He has 4 grandchildren Chad Phillips, wife Christy, Pasadena, TX, Rachel Thompson, husband Brian, Pasadena, TX and Abigail and Ruth Anne Hasty, Columbus, GA. He enjoyed his 5 great-grandchildren Kiley and Kori Phillips, Nathan, Joe and Brookelynn Thompson.
Funeral Service and interment will be Friday, November 26, at 2:30 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Rev. Charles R. Hasty, Jr. will officiate. Pallbearers are Henry Bowman, Clifford Green, Tim Phillips, Chad Phillips, Brian Thompson, and Al Yeomans.
Visitation is Wednesday, November 24, 5:00 – 7:00 PM held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy., Webster, TX. 281-332-3111

The family would like to thank Houston Hospice and the medical staff of St. Luke Hospital.
Glen’s family and friends were blessed by his life and enduring witness to Jesus Christ.
