A year ago, after losing his beloved wife, Mary, Harold moved to Austin, Texas to live near his daughter and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family there. He was not only highly intelligent, organized, and hard-working, but also gentle and kind. He was an excellent provider and an extremely devoted husband. A caring friend and neighbor, Harold was always willing to extend a helping hand. He was tremendously giving and generous, and always put others before himself. In spite of living with several debilitating illnesses, including Diabetes and Alzheimer’s, Harold faced each day with a kind spirit and a positive outlook. He taught us patience, acceptance, and how to handle adversity with grace and dignity. He is so loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
