On behalf of your mother and sisters, I would like to take this time to honor you.  When our father died almost 26 years ago, you felt it was your duty to step in and be the man of the house.  But then again, you were about honor, duty, respect and responsibility.  You were about family and we called you for everything.  I went through a rough time a few years ago and I would call you almost every afternoon on my way home from work and we would talk for hours.  You would listen, well except for those times you said you lost signal.  You were mischevious, a jokester and the biggest prankster which makes me doubt all those times you said you lost signal.  You were a happy go lucky who always thought of others before yourself and saw only the best in everyone.  You are and will always be the life of our family.  You are a great man, wonderful son and brother even as you fought the good fight against cancer this past year.  You never lost hope or faith that God would grant you a miracle.  I know in my heart that you would have spared us all from this pain we now feel.  You leave us rich with so many memories and stories to tell.  But don't worry Hector, we will only tell the "good" ones.  There will never be another big brother like you.

Have fun soaring on eagle's wings and playing with the angels.  We are going to miss you so much as we begin our journey of trying to move on with out you.  

Rest in peace "brudder" dear. It's not goodbye, it's until we meet again.

Dear Salinas Family - It was an honor to assist your family during this very difficult time.  I know from talking to all of you how dearly loved Hector was and I am sure he will be dearly missed by everyone that know him.  I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers, please take care.
