Ida Belle Baker Petry Moore, of Huntsville, TX passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019. She was born in Houston, TX on November 30, 1934 to George Hall and Ida Belle (Anderson) Baker. She was married to Kenneth Moore for 14 years before his passing in 1999. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntsville, TX and had a passion for mission work, including the Restorative Justice and the Hospitality House.
She is survived by her children Arlene Dantin of Texas City, TX, Brooklynn A. Johnson of Huntsville, TX, David Alan Petry of Houston, TX, Aleice’ Bartels and her husband Ron of LaVernia, TX, Ken Moore, Jr. and wife Linda of Houston, TX, and Tom Moore of KY; Grandchildren, Edwin D. Dantin, Amanda Johnson and husband Brandon, Christopher Tyler, Jennifer Bartels, Samantha Martinez and husband Joe; Nieces, Bonnie DeLaughter and husband Todd, Allison Horstman and husband Daniel, Pegi Spencer and husband Joe, Cindy Baker, and Ida McBroom. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and many great/great-great nieces and nephews and longtime friends.
Funeral services to be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598 at the gravesite on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. Viewing will start at 9:00 a.m. in the State Room.
