Idella Reitler

Idella was born June 27, 1951 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to Booker T. Watkins and Mary Ellen Brookins.

She worked as an optical cleaning tech, for II-VI Inc. She also loved gardening and the ocean.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Reitler, her mother Mary Ellen Vann, her father Booker T. Watkins, and her brother Robert Jones. She is survived by her daughter Alona Davis and husband Monte Davis of Houston, TX and her sons Alfred M Dorsey Jr, of Portland, OR, Alexander W Dorsey of Cummings, GA and sister Estella Sloan of Dallax, TX; stepsons: Gary L. Reitler, Jr. and wife, Dorothy, of Sarver, PA, David B. Reitler and wife, Tammy of Kittanning, William J. Reitler and wife, Kristen, of Kittanning, Matthew J. Reitler, of Brackenridge; Kimberly L. Smith and husband, Shawn, of Rural Valley, Erin Reitler, of Tarentum, and grandchildren: Jack Dorsey, Alfred M. Dorsey Jr, Cameron Thompson, Alysia Dorsey, Whitney Reitler, Kimberly Reitler, Ashley Huestis and husband, Austin, Marilyn Reitler, Tori Smith, Dakota Smith, Josh Reitler, Jeremy "Buck" Reitler, Jessica Reitler, Emily Lenavitt, Stephanie Lenavitt, and Benjamin Reitler; great grandchild: Carter Reitler; brother: Dale L. Reitler; and sisters, Peggy L. Gilliland and husband, Lou, of Butler, Melissa J. Reiler, and Pamela S. Shaffer and husband, Rick, of Slate Lick. Neices and Nephews, William Peters and sisters Alecia Peters and Ellena Sloan, Robert Jones Jr. and brothers and sisters; Mavin Jones, David Jones, Christopher Jones and Tonya Jones, Mannie Jones, Autumn Jones and Crystal Jones.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home on Sunday December 15, 2013 from 4pm-8pm. Services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home on Monday December 16,2013 at 10am followed by graveside service.
