Arthur is survived by 5 children, Cecil and wife Eleanor, Sylvia Pipkin and husband Sam, Clara Still, Mike, Craig and wife Joan; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, and his 8 siblings.
Arthur was one of the first deacons in First Baptist Church Friendswood (1956). He enjoyed entertaining with his fiddle, listening to baseball, and loved his Blue Bell ice cream.
Family visitation will be held on Sunday July 8, 2012 from 2 pm-4pm at Forest Park East. Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 9, 2012, starting at 3 pm at First Baptist Church Friendswood, 111 E. Heritage, Friendswood, TX 77546.
