Joe Will Fincher, 87, of Houston, TX passed away on April 15, 2016. On the day he died, he was surrounded by his loved ones and passed peacefully. Joe was born on September 16, 1928, in Lott, TX to Ollie and Grace Fincher. Joe graduated from Milby High School. Afterward, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He then married his loving wife, Nancy. Joe worked and retired from Southwestern Bell.
Joe is survived by his wife, Nancy Fincher; his daughter, Nancy Jo Williams (Loyd); his grandchildren, Amy Passmore (Brett), Carrie Thompson (Dave), and Brian Williams; and his great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Matthew, Kirsten, and Emily. He was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Fincher; and brothers, Gerry and Thomas.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 p.m. Joe will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery.
