John Villarreal, age 82, of Alvin, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020. John was born October 3, 1937. He was a welder, machinist and member of Knights of Columbus. John loved music, especially Oldies, Blues and Jazz. He loved to dance and was always the "life of the party". John enjoyed watching westerns, sports and was always a jokester. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Dolores Villarreal; brothers, Mike Villarreal, Manuel
Villarreal, Ramon Villarreal, Raul Villarreal, Reyes Villarreal and Reynaldo Villarreal; and sisters, Esperanza Villarreal, Maria Villarreal Rios and Dora Elias. He is survived by brother, Benjamin Villarreal; wife, Benita Villarreal; sons, Johnny Villarreal, Eli Villarreal and his wife, Lolita, and Noel Villarreal and his wife, Francesca; daughter, Angelica Herrera and her husband, Moises. Other surviving relatives include grandchildren, Armando Ortega, Maria Herrera, Ashley Herrera, Kimberly Herrera, Dolores Derebenskiy, Rachel Villarreal, Jacob Boomsaad, Brandon Tubb, Sadie Villarreal, Chloe Villarreal, Gabriella Villarreal, Celeste Villarreal, and Moises Herrera; and great grandchildren, Bentley Ortega, Armanii Ortega, Frankie Rubio, Jayden McDowell, Arianna Robinson, Sabastian Robinson and Niomii Yarbrough.
A Rosary Service will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral services to celebrate the life of John Villarreal will be held 2:30 pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the funeral home. A committal service will immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, TX. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
