

George “Keith” Moseley, 57, of Friendswood, TX, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday morning, August 14, 2016. He was born April 21, 1959 to George Kinlock and Betty Jean “Becky” Moseley in Evansville, IN. Keith and his parents moved to Pasadena, TX the next year, where he grew up. Since he was a child, Keith loved to fish, boat and water ski at his parent’s lake house near Toledo Bend. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America in Scout Troop 388 and earned his Eagle Scout award in January 1974. He played football in junior high and his first year in high school, where he also enjoyed learning to play golf. Keith decided to pursue a career in pharmacy like his father. He enjoyed helping his father run his own local pharmacy Green’s Pharmacy in Pasadena, TX, which helped greatly in his career. Keith earned his Associate of Science from San Jacinto College in 1979; then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Houston in 1982. He was an active member of the Phi Delta Chi Society at U of H.
Keith started his long career of 19 years with Kmart Pharmacies in Houston, TX as Pharmacy Manager, District Coordinator; and then as their Pharmacy District Manager – Houston/E. TX/SW.LA. He then worked 5 years for Target Pharmacy as Pharmacy Manager, Operations Resource, Government Relations, and became the Area Pharmacy Manager- Houston/San Antonio/South TX/LA. Keith needed a more satisfying career change and then worked for Brookshire Brothers Pharmacies as a Pharmacy District Manager for almost 9 years.Some of his achievements he earned while employed were:
14 years - Board of Directors for Texas Federation of Chain Drug Stores; March 2000 – Kmart Pharmacy District Manager of the year. 16 years – University of Houston College of Pharmacy, Dean’s Advisory Council; February 1999 – Kmart Pharmacy Most Valuable Player of the Southern Region Dist. Mgr. with Best Human Resource Ability.
Keith had the highest level of commitment to the people he worked with, and always handled himself with great integrity and kindness. He constantly demonstrated leadership and was a role model for the right thing for all people at all levels. He was always available to help anyone with any issue and truly went above and beyond in too many situations to count. Everyone who worked with Keith was blessed by his presence – he was so unique and special. He never met a stranger and was respected by all.
Keith was known for his big heart and his generosity. He was a wonderful son, father, brother and husband. He is survived by his wife, Pattie Marie Box Moseley of 35 ½ years of marriage; son, Travis Keith Moseley; father, George Kinlock Moseley; Aunt, Joan Schappert who lives in RI; sister, Karen C. Seals and husband Charles “Bo”; much loved niece and nephew, Erika and Eric. Also Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Benny and Vivian Dolores Box; sister-in-law, Vivian Diane Springer and husband Gary; sister-in-law, Cathy L. Box. Also an Uncle Robert Broussard and wife June; Cousins, Diana Kennedy and husband Larry; Cousin, Bobby Broussard and wife Barbara; and Cousin, Becky Lou Broussard. There are many extended family members and a host of friends.
Making friends for Keith was incredibly easy; he had a great memory and once he met you, he wouldn’t forget you. Keith will be greatly missed by family and many, many from his childhood, his work, the community, and his travels.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Park East Funeral Home Chapel.
