Larry married Sandra Kay Meeks on March 6, 1971 and celebrated 52nd year of marriage.
Larry retired as an Technician with Schlumberger after over 30 years of service where he met several lifelong friends. Larry had a passion for writing stories, journaling, and drawing as well as travel with his wife on cruises and the occasional trips to casinos.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carolyn Stevens, and wife Sandra Smith.
He is survived by his son Christopher Smith and wife Betty of Elkhart, Texas; grandchildren Warren & Travis Smith. Son Daniel Smith and Sandra DeLeon of Lubbock, Texas; grandson Carter Smith.
