Lucille Diana Gordon of Webster, Texas, passed away on July 17, 2022, after complications of pneumonia. She leaves behind her son, Jonathan Davidson (48), and her beloved granddaughter, Emily A. Davidson (17).
Lucille was born November 25, 1937, to her parents, Jacob and Rebecca Gordon, in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1982, She packed up her son and belongings and moved to Houston, Texas. She excelled as a saleswoman for Pitney Bowes, and later became employed with the City of Houston Police Department as an Administrative Assistant. She happily retired from this position after being employed for approximately 12 years. During her retirement years, she resided for over 10 years at Brookdale Clear Lake in Webster, Texas, making many friends in this community.
Lucille spent her time watching her favorite T.V. show "Blue Bloods," going to church, and spending time with her son and her dog, Katie. Lucille was widely known for her strong and boisterous personality accompanied by her sidekick, and obedient friend, Katie. Lucille's pride and joy, her granddaughter, was her favorite topic to share with her friends as she would brag about Emily’s accomplishments and how beautiful she thought she was.
Lucille lived her life to the fullest and would always say, "Whatever is God's will, will be." She will be missed but wanted her life to be celebrated rather than her death be the focus. And so we celebrate her life and the memories she gave.
A small memorial service will be held on August 6th, 11 AM at Brookdale Senior Living in Webster.
