Madlyn Jean Bufkin of Houston, Texas passed away January 24, 2011 in a Webster, Texas hospital. She was born September 17, 1940 in Columbia City, Indiana to John Morris and Irene Bremer Morris. Madlyn moved to Houston 46 years ago and worked as an administrative assistant for Harris County. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Stacie Bufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Rex Batterson; her soulmate, Frank Zehentner; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jack and Rauline Morris and Bill Morris; Grandchildren, Cooper Bufkin, Abbey Bufkin, Ashley McPhail and Alissa Batterson along with many other relatives and friends.
