Margaret Jordan Burk, 75, of Houston, Texas, passed away November 3, 2016. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 10, 1941 to Milton and Irene Jordan. Margaret worked for Nabisco, Inc. for 35 years. She had a passion for Elvis, Owls, antique collecting and gardening.
She is preceded in death by husband, Charles H. Burk; parents, Milton and Irene Jordan; brother in law, Jimmy Jorgenson;
She is survived by daughter, Monica Burk; son, Van Schmuck; sisters, Dorothy Jorgenson, Virginia Keniston and husband Richard; grandchildren Emily and Evan Schmuck; cousin, Elizabeth Wagner; nieces, Elizabeth Lloyd, Tammy Soward, Melissa Burrow; nephew, Steven Keniston; she will be missed by her numerous great nieces, great nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598. Funeral services to follow at 12:30 p.m. Interment Forest Park East Cemetery.
