Besides gardening, cooking and sewing, she enjoyed serving others with a generous heart. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ninfa Peacock, her brothers, Joe Lopez and Ernesto Lopez, and her grandchildren, Garrett Kencaid Jewell and Marissa Celine Ottosen. She is survived by her youngest brother, Charles R. Lopez and his wife Yolanda Lopez; her children, Madelene Jewell Ottosen and her husband Douglas Ottosen, William (Bill) Jewell, Thomas (Tom) Jewell and his wife Lisa Martinka Jewell, and Kenneth (Kenny) Jewell; her grandchildren, Jessica Elizabeth Barboza and her husband Juansebastian Barboza, Nicholas Jewell, Isabella Jewell, and Victoria Jewell and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
