Margie V. Smith, 91, of Alvin Texas, passed away on January 22, 2016. She was born in Whitesboro, Texas on January 16, 1925 to Matthew and Annie Snow. She was married to Wallace H. Miller for 20 years and Louis P. Smith for 40 years. She was a member of Alvin Missionary Baptist Church and had a passion for Jesus and her family.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father; son, Jim Kidd Miller; 8 siblings, and husbands Louis P. Smith and Wallace H. Miller. She is survived by her sister, Gladys Gulledge; sons Ray D. Miller and wife Marita, Jack T. Miller and wife Cheryl, and Mike W. Miller and wife Sonya; grandchildren Kobie Lee, Kandice Walton, Kristopher Miller, Robin Miller, Steven Erik, Joy Miller, and Michael Miller; great-grandchildren Kristopher Livingston, Joseph Livingston, Sarah Brisart, Tyler Walton, Ashley Walton, Aaron Payne, Mindy Woefel, Kaiden Matthien, and Terran Miller; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Margie’s Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
