Gloria Marie Elliott, 76, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 25, 2014. Marie was born in Bienville, Louisiana on December 2, 1938. She married her husband, Daryle Elliott, on November 3, 1957. Marie was very devoted to her church and loved writing devotionals for the church bulletin.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mildred Pace.
Marie is survived by her husband Daryle Elliott of Houston; daughters Patti Jonte of Pearland and Tessy Rice of Dickinson; her grandchildren Jennifer Wailes, Zachary, Derek, and Samantha Rice; and her great-grandchild Devin Wailes. She is also survived by her brother Merlin Pace of Georgia and a host of loving friends.
