Marjorie graduated from Jeff Davis High School. She married Harris Paul Hoepfner and they had four sons. They moved to Seabrook in 1951. Margie cherished the water, she loved to be on a boat, sailing or fishing. If a boat was leaving she wanted to be on it! She earned her nickname “the Rat” by not phoning home after a Galveston to Vera Cruz race in which several boats sank! She also enjoyed gardening and traveling. Margie always had a smile on her face; she had a great sense of humor even during her latter years. The nurses at Eden Hill Communities loved her wit! Margie was a great mom and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alma and Andy Boyle; her husband Pee Wee Hoepfner; their son, Tim; her brother Bob Boyle and sister Norma Barr. She is survived by her sons, Michael and his wife Anna; Richard and his wife, Sandi; Todd and his wife, Mary; grandsons; Shawn, Scott, Kyle, Brad, Drew and granddaughter; Leah; 5 great grandchildren, Brandan, Leila, Kaitlynn, Kollinn and Kellinn.
