Michael Anthony Guzman

Michael Anthony Guzman, 22, of Friendswood, TX, passed away January 23, 2016. He was born in Brownsville, TX on September 02, 1993 to Monica & Hector Guzman. Michael worked for Regent Care as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Michael had a passion for helping others and nursing was a field that he strived in. He always displayed a high quality of patient care and assisted elderly residents with activities of daily living. He always ensured that his patients were comforted; all while preserving their dignity.

Michael was a 2012 Graduate of Clear Brook High School and was currently enrolled at Alvin Community College pursuing a career in healthcare. He loved spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, and going to concerts. His passion for music was a very important aspect of his life. He was always full of life and had such a huge heart for all those around him.

Michael is survived by his parents Monica and Hector Guzman, Brother David, oldest Brother Joel and sister in law, Veronica. He is also survived by grandmothers, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather J.P. Garcia, Great Grandmother Ignacia “Nachita” Munivez and Great Grandmother Paula S. Guzman.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The celebration of Michael’s life will commence Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
