Hayes, Marshall and Robin, I will always remeber Tad as the little happy, curious boy from down the street.  He was a great kid and I am so glad I was able to see and talk with him some 35 years later when we were all together at another sad occasion.  May God be with all of you and my prayers are with you.

Mike was a rare and unique individual. Ever the storyteller, he always had something to share (even if you had heard it before). Night shift was typically quiet, and if you were assigned to Fire Dispatch, you were Mike's audience. He had stories about everything- his days working at Rural Metro and Six Flags, random facts about 70's and 80's pop culture (he knew i was born in 1991 but was always shocked that I didn't get most of his references), his dog Brandi, his experience with being under general anesthesia 9 times in one year, and last but not least, his family- the list could go on forever. I swear, I probably learned more about Mike's life than most people know about their spouses. That being said, I will truly miss Mike and the warmth and cheerfulness he brought to the Dispatch center. It was always a pleasure working with him and I look forward to seeing my friend once more when I get to heaven. The Hatley family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Mike Hatley's family and friends. I worked with Michael from 1991 to 2001 he was a man of honesty he will be greatly missed.  The Lord gave us memories for a reason and there are many. God bless.

To Michael's family,
 Life is a blessing and too short on this earth. But life does not end with death, for those who love Jesus it only begins. Michael is with the Lord but we suffer the pain of separation until we meet again.  I worked with Michael for so many years and have only good memories. He brought a smile and a laugh to so many of us who knew him. You have lost a dear family member and we have lost a blessed friend, but only a temporary loss.
 May God bless you, Michael will be missed.

Mike was a one of a kind guy. He was there when you needed a shoulder to cry on and someone to talk too. He would make you laugh when you needed it. We worked together and had a personal relationship also. He has always been there for me and for that I am very greatful. To his family I will always care about all of  you and I will miss him dearly. I hope to see him again in the next life. Love and prayers to all of you.

I worked with Mike for 12 years....he would always put a smile on your face.  I'm gonna miss you, Mike.  My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I never had the privilege to work with Mike, but I did have the honor of being his girlfriend of 2 years in high school. I worked alongside Mike when he was a night shift Rural Metro Dispatcher from 1995 to about 1998. At the time I was dispatching for the PPD. Mike always brought a spirit of fun during the boring wee hours of the morning, but when a call dropped....he was all business. I know that I always had a friend in Mike and I know he thought the same about me. I will miss you Mike...see you on the other side my friend!

I worked with Mike in Dispatch on night shift. He was our "life line" he was always making us laugh, was there when someone needed a shoulder to cry on.  I love ya, Mike & you will be so greatly missed by so many. Rest gently in the arms of god.

So sorry to hear of TAD'S passing--He is in God's Loving Arms--All are in our prayers..

I worked with Mike during the Rural Metro days.  Mike dispatched 911 calls in the Pasadena operation.  Afterwards a group of RM employees from Pasadena, including Mike, relocated to the Bastrop County 911 operation.  The one thing that I will always remember about Mike is that no matter how bad the call or FUBAR the situation was...Mike's voice and demeanor was always calm.  To hear his voice on the radio gave you a sense that everything would be safe and secure when you arrived on scene.  Every Medic that Mike dispatched owes him a debt of gratitude...they went home safely after that shift.  Thanks Mike

I worked with Mike during the AMT/Rural Metro days. He was always such a great guy. I am sorry that I lost track of him over the years. My sympathy to you entire family and all those who knew Mike. I believe all of our lives are better for having known him.
