Michael D. Knowles, 63, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away April 18, 2017. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 12, 1953 to William Alton Knowles, Jr. and Delores Ware Knowles. He was married to Vicky Guy Knowles for 39 years. Mike had a career in farming, construction and logging for Knowles Farm, Knowles & Son Excavating and Knowles Logging.
He had a passion for the outdoors he loved going sailing, fishing and barbeque cook-offs but most of all he loved his family. He enjoyed cattle farming and NASCAR as well.
He was preceded in death by father, William Alton Knowles Jr.; mother Delores Knowles Landis; grandparents Alton and Blanche Knowles.
He is survived by wife Vicky Guy Knowles; daughter Savannah Knowles; son William (Will) Knowles; grandchildren Brianna, Kaylee and Wyatt Knowles; sisters Kathleen Knowles and Susan Knowles Crutchfield; nephew Joshua Crutchfield.
Mike always said his greatest accomplishment was his children Savannah and Will. They were his pride and joy
