Nancy Catherine Fraley

Nancy Catherine Fraley, a compassionate, kind-hearted, and thoughtful woman, passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 85. A resident of Pearland, Texas, Nancy was born on August 27, 1939, in El Campo, Texas, to Merrill and Catherine Weiser.

Nancy dedicated her professional life to working as a hairdresser. Her career reflected her passion for making others feel good about themselves, a testament to her caring nature.

Nancy was married to Billy E. Fraley for 50 wonderful years. Together they raised a loving family. She is remembered as a devoted mother to her son Steve Fraley, wife Ann Fraley, and daughter Jeanette Fraley Byrnes, husband Bill Byrnes. Her family extended to include her grandchildren: Matthew Fraley and his wife Amber, Mark Fraley and Mariel Fraley with her husband Aaron Fryar, as well as her adored great-grandsons, James Fraley and Ethan Fraley. Her caring touch also extended to her cousin, Becky Weiser Gardner, and her husband Patrick Gardner, and great cousin, Samantha Gardner Allen and her husband Caleb Allen.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy E. Fraley, and her parents Merrill and Catherine Weiser.

Her love for nature, animals, fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family were central to her life, reflecting her warm and generous spirit.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on September 2, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX, 77598.

Nancy Fraley will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all those who had the privilege to know her.
