Nicholas Tristan Gutierrez

Nicholas Tristan Gutierrez, born on February 19, 1997, to Larry and Kathy Gutierrez, passed away on November 27, 2024, peacefully in his mother's arms and surrounded by family. Despite being born with medical challenges, Nicholas embraced life with courage and joy, becoming an inspiration to all who knew him.

Nicholas’ family was his foundation, and their Christian faith filled his life with love and grace. His parents’ unwavering devotion to him was evident in everything they did, from celebrating his victories to supporting him through every trial. The bond they shared was one of unconditional love, a bond that will forever remain in their hearts.

Nicholas had a gift for brightening any room with his infectious smile and laughter, bringing warmth and joy to everyone he met. His love for his family was evident in every moment they spent together.

Nicholas attended Bonnet Jr. High and graduated from Deer Park High School in 2016. His family has been a long-standing part of the First Baptist Church Pasadena community, where their faith was a guiding force in Nicholas’ life.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandfather, David C. Gutierrez, and his great-grandmothers, Elizabeth McClellan and Theckle Mitilineos.

He is survived by his loving parents, Larry and Kathy Gutierrez; his brother, George Gutierrez; his aunts and uncles, Theresa and John Rousis, David and Ellie Gutierrez, Sandra Sanchez; his grandparents, Yiayia and Papou George and Debra Mitilineos; his grandmother, Elfida Gutierrez; his cousin, Konstantine Vogiantzis; and many extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Pasadena, 7500 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX with a visitation one hour prior and a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations may be made in Nicholas’ name to First Baptist Church Pasadena.
